A Harris Interactive poll released on December 22, 2009 shed some interesting light on cosmetic procedures. The overall finding? Americans are surprisingly open to a number of cosmetic makeovers if cost wasn’t an issue.
Which procedure came in first? Click the “More” tab (or just keep reading) to find out. And then take a quick poll to tell us what you would consider.
Funded by RealSelf.com (a website dedicated to cosmetic procedures) the survey of more than 2,200 adults found that a tummy tuck was the number-one surgical procedure that women would choose. And just how many women would choose it if cost wasn’t an issue? 39%. Yes, you read that correctly: 39%.
Have a look at some of the findings:
Tummy tuck: 39%
Liposuction: 34%
Hair removal: 31%
Facelift: 18%
Cellulite treatment: 18%
Laser skin treatment: 16%
Breast augmentation 15%:
Where are popular treatments like lip injections and wrinkle fillers? It’s easy to speculate that they didn’t make the list because they’re relatively inexpensive compared to surgical procedures. Kinda like saying you’d opt for the 7-series BMW instead of a subcompact if money was no object.
So now it’s your turn! Tell us what you’d have done.
NOTE: Even if you’re signed in, this poll (and all of our polls) are totally anonymous.
